Christian Jenkins – Director of Operations
Christian has spent over 25 years as a sector leading head-hunter for clients in the science and technology sectors. He has worked with global head-hunting firms Odgers Berndston and Harvey Nash as well as running his own firm, Latimer International, which was a tenant on the park. He understands the challenges faced by micro SME businesses and has a breadth of commercial knowledge across the park’s key sectors.
Christian has also involved himself in the region’s political, economic, environmental and cultural sectors having been an elected Councillor, Chair of the Plymouth Arts Centre and Chair of an environmental charity.

Ian Pearce – Finance Director
Ian is a chartered accountant who has spent his career working with companies of all sizes in the medical and technology sectors. Having spent 8 years with KPMG he subsequently acted as finance director to a number of technology start-ups and overseas inward investment companies before joining the Park in 2008.
Merika Kindlon – Commercial Executive
Merika has a substantial commercial background gained from working in specialist corporate finance firms serving companies in the technology sector and in the investment market. Merika has an excellent understanding of the challenges and needs of high growth companies as well as strong connections within the financial community – her role encompasses all aspects of attracting, retaining and enabling science and technology businesses to grow and fulfill the overall objective of PSP and it’s partners, which is to create high value jobs in this sector, in Plymouth.
Stephen Holland – Estates & Premises Manager
Stephen has been involved in building design and management in the South West for 25 years. He has worked at senior level in both the private and public sectors and has qualifications in architecture, building surveying and sustainable construction. The varied challenges and opportunities presented by estates management at Plymouth Science Park are well suited to the application of his experience and qualifications.
Katie O’Brien – Business Services Manager
Katie has a strong background in office management, customer service and project management in both the public and private sector, and a passion for improving process and efficiencies. Her multi-faceted role includes the operational delivery of services, strategic planning and business development. Katie heads up the Business Services team which encompasses reception, administration and conferencing.
Jonathan Harris – ICT Operations Manager
Jonathan Harris heads up the ICT Services team at PSP and has 20 years experience in the sector specialising in data and telecommunications networks. He has worked for a diverse range of organisations in both the public and private sectors. Jonathan founded and currently Chairs the UK Science Park Association ICT Forum.
