As Plymouth Science Park is part-owned by The University of Plymouth it’s only natural that there are strong links and collaborations between the two environments.
Plymouth Science Park is dedicated to helping students and graduates from the University of Plymouth build on their skills and experience so they can develop their business ideas.
Previously PSP has helped University of Plymouth spin out or start up businesses such as Pulsiv Solar and Vertical Plus develop and grow from an idea to a fully fledged, successful business.
The Formation Zone, part of the University of Plymouth, provides an incubation environment for students/graduates to develop their ideas. From their they can then move to the security of the Park so they can take the business to the next level.
As the park is home to over 150 business of all sizes it is a natural choice for graduates to look here first for either employment or support for their start-up.
This also means that businesses looking to employ the best in their industry are perfectly positioned to attract university graduates.
Here are some of the support services the university can offer businesses both on and off the park – take a look at their Enterprise Solutions.
