Co-founder of the Eden Project to talk at Plymouth University

April 20th - 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

On the 20th of April, Executive Vice Chairman and Co-founder of the Eden Project, Sir Tim Smit will be doing a talk focusing on ambitious plans to roll out similar biosphere education initiatives across the world.

“Eden seeks to expand into every habitable continent on earth in order to have a cultural foothold and voice reflecting the interests of the wider world. How, in a so-called ‘post-truth’ era, can we seek to reset a moral compass reflecting the interests of all and how can the vanity of such ambition be controlled by humility? Dr Strangelove? Or pragmatists with hearts of gold? The future remains ours to make, if we dare.” – Sir Tim Smit

The event starts at 18:00 with registration and refreshments and proceeds to a lecture with Q&A at 18:30. If you need any more convincing as to why you should go, you should know it is also completely FREE, all you have to do is follow this link and register to attend.
