Plymouth Health Innovation Alliance Manager – Working within the University’s Research and Innovation Department, under the direction of the PHIA Board, you will be responsible for the development and management of the Alliance, working with a range of partners, leading and driving the ambition to make Plymouth a national centre for health research, innovation and related business opportunity.
Experience of working in a health-medical research and innovation and/or business environment together with a good working knowledge of the private and public sector, with particular focus on healthcare, medicine, social care and public health is essential for this role, as is expertise in building and developing successful partnerships
The Plymouth Health Innovation Alliance (PHIA) is a partnership between the University of Plymouth, Plymouth City Council, University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust, South West Academic Health Science Network, Plymouth Science Park, industry, research, health and care organisations, public sector bodies and the third sector to develop the profile of, increase connection / collaboration and maximise opportunities for health related research, innovation and business in Plymouth and the surrounding region.
