Moortec are proud to have been involved in the recent ‘Girls into Electronics’ UK Electronic Skills Foundation (UKESF) event at Royal Holloway University.
The event was designed to encourage more female students to actively pursue a career in Electronics Engineering. Moortec were represented by Martin Buck from the Applications Engineering Department as well as current Engineering Interns, Gavin Fish and Stylianos Balalis.
The event was an excellent opportunity for students to learn more about the world of Electronics Engineering and the skills and attributes needed to pursue such a career.
Moortec recently celebrated the end of another successful financial year with a company wide excursion to Jolly Jack’s bistro for a much deserved breakfast in the glorious Plymouth sunshine. Work life balance is one of the key values of Moortec and the company prides itself in offering a supportive and balanced working environment at the cutting edge of semiconductor IP design.
Moortec are proud to be supporting one of their AMAZING employees, Sara Walker, who recently organised and led a very special Radiance charity dance class to raise money for Jeremiah’s Journey, a local charity that provides help and support to children when they have experienced, or are anticipating, the death of someone special. Sara and her community class managed to raise and whopping £1,319.60.
